Spring Show 2025
Lovebirds

I will admit, I am a bit of a bird-lover. Spring is great time to be in AZ to catch a glimpse of many of the migratory birds that temporarily call AZ home. Many of our human visitors might be surprised to see a non-native species that has taken up residence around much of Maricopa county - The Rosy-faced lovebird.
Rumor has it that in the 1980's a private aviary blew over in a monsoon storm releasing a flock of these little parrots. Native to South Africa, the escapee lovebirds adapted quite well to the Sonoran desert and can now be found in many communities throughout the Phoenix area. I am happy that a lovebird family has taken up residency near my studio. They are the inspiration for my new collection of decorative and functional pottery, The Lovebird Collection.
Granny's Garden
I often work on many pieces at the same time, creating a collection of works. One of my favorite collections is called “Granny’s Garden”. The inspiration from this collection comes from my Mother-in-Law, who my boys affectionately call Granny. She was diagnosed with dementia in 2021. This has been a terrible struggle for my family as we watch her slip away before our eyes; however, we see her enduring ability to feel and share love. She may not remember facts, experiences, or even the names of family, but she remembers her love of gardening and the wide variety of flowers that bring her great joy.

Folle Dame au Poulet
My husband and I have been keeping chickens for the last 20 years. Along the way we have met many other chicken fanciers, leading me to create the "Crazy Chicken Lady" ceramic sculpture series. This unique piece features a delightful French twist, showcasing the playful charm and quirky personality of our beloved chicken-loving ladies.
Wild Waddle
From somewhere deep in my imagination comes this whimsical ceramic sculpture, a delightful fusion of a penguin and a toucan! I can just imagine his wild waddle as he strolls along the beaches of Brazil. This one-of-a-kind creation is sure to spark conversation and smiles.

I Believe I Can Fly
This whimsical piece embodies determination and the power of a positive mindset. It reminds us all that with a little belief, anything is possible!
Aunt Fluffy Bunny
I am not sure what it says about me, but my social media feed is flooded with images and videos of Capybaras. Who can resists these adorable dog-sized guinea pigs? When my sons were little, we had a beloved pet guinea pig named Fluffy Bunny. Spiderweb those two images together and you get this playful ceramic sculpture.

Pop! Cactus Collection
My studio is in the desert foothills area of the Valley of the Sun. I am lucky to be surrounded by many varieies of native trees and cacti. These are the inspiration for my Pop! Cactus Collection. The sculptures in this collection vary from bright and whimsical to muted and understated, but all show my appreciation of the desert that is my home.
Denim Roses
This ceramic sculpture, with the subtle hues of washed denim and fresh grass, was inspired by the comfortable feeling of your favorite pair of jeans.
